What you see:

• A woman who bet on herself.
• Someone creating her own path instead of following someone else’s.
• Someone who seems confident, capable, and determined.

What you don’t see:

• A business owner working a 9-to-5 while building her dreams after hours.
• A woman who has survived more than most people will ever know.
• Someone who still battles fear, self-doubt, and questions whether she’s enough.

Lately, I’ve been learning about duality through my healing work—the idea that two things can be true at the same time.

You can be strong and still struggle.
You can be grateful and still be healing.
You can be fearless and still feel afraid.

Social media often shows the highlights, the wins, the polished moments. But behind every image is a story that doesn’t always make it into the caption.

What I see in this photo is someone fierce. Someone resilient. Someone unwilling to quit on herself, even when the road feels uncertain.

And for that woman, I’m deeply grateful

In the early 2000s, Lenny Kravitz transformed his Miami Beach mansion into one of the most futuristic celebrity homes of its era, years before this style became mainstream 🏠

Working alongside designer Bodo Sperlein and later through his own company Kravitz Design, the music icon created a home inspired by retro futurism, 1970s modernism, science fiction films, and luxury nightclub culture. The mansion featured curved architecture, metallic finishes, immersive lighting, pod style rooms, sculptural bathrooms, and dramatic open spaces that blurred the line between interior design and art installation.

At a time when most luxury homes focused on traditional elegance or minimalism, Kravitz embraced a bold cinematic vision of the future. Many of the design elements seen throughout the property, including ambient lighting, chrome details, rounded furniture, and futuristic layouts, would later become major trends in high end architecture and luxury interiors around the world.

Years later, the mansion is still remembered as one of the most unique celebrity homes ever created, proving Lenny Kravitz wasn’t just ahead of his time musically, but creatively as well.

Hotel Monroe, which opened in 2025, has officially become the first full-service hotel in the United States to be certified 100 percent gluten-free.

This is welcome news for travelers with Celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, for whom travel has long come with a layer of uncertainty. Even restaurants that advertise gluten-free menus or dedicated items can’t always guarantee safe preparation, particularly in shared kitchens. Hotel Monroe takes a stricter approach: gluten simply doesn’t exist on-site.
