New Research by FIS and Oxford Economics Finds That Cyberthreats, Fraud, Regulatory Complexities and Financial Inefficiencies Cost Businesses $100 Million Annually - Press Releases | FIS 06/05/2026

Businesses are losing out on an average of $98.5 million per year. 💸

A landmark global study from FIS and Oxford Economics highlights a critical bottleneck for global enterprises, a state of financial disharmony, caused by cyberthreats, fraud, regulatory hurdles and operational inefficiencies.

As institutions invest in AI and automation to try address this, a deeper architectural flaw remains ignored. Adding layers of automated detection onto legacy infrastructure does not eliminate risk if those systems still rely on the storage and transmission of raw, vulnerable personal data.

We believe that the best way to protect data is to never store it in the first place. That is the core philosophy behind our IT2 technology.

Trust Stamp selected by Ridgedale Federal Credit Union for identity verification services 06/04/2026

We're proud to partner with Ridgedale Federal Credit Union to elevate its identity verification standards and enhance member security. 🚀

Through this partnership, Ridgedale FCU will be implementing our government-backed Driver’s License Data Verification (DLDV) system to validate identity data in real-time during account openings and high-risk transactions.

Andrew Gowasack, President of Trust Stamp, commented:

“At Trust Stamp, we believe that every institution, regardless of size, deserves the confidence that comes with government-backed identity verification. By bringing this technology to the Credit Union and small and medium businesses (SMBs) markets, we are leveling the playing field against sophisticated identity thieves.”

Implementing biometric authentication is essential for modern fraud prevention, but it often leaves enterprises with a permanent data liability: The Biometric Honeypot. 🍯

Centralized databases of raw biometric templates or images create a high-value 'honeypot' liability, presenting a prime target for malicious actors. Because a user cannot change or reset their face or fingerprint if a database is compromised, a single breach under global privacy mandates like GDPR and CCPA exposes organizations to hefty administrative fines, legal liabilities, and lasting damage to corporate reputation.

Trust Stamp eliminates this data liability through a foundations-up architecture of privacy-by-design. Our technology removes sensitive data from the reach of bad actors by converting biometric images into less meaningful numerical representations.

🔒 Irreversible Tokenization: Trust Stamp ingests biometric data and instantly transforms it into an Irreversibly Transformed Identity Token (IT2). The result is a unique, anonymized cryptographic token.

❌ Zero-Knowledge Architecture: The token contains all the utility needed to securely answer "Who are you?", but it cannot be reverse-engineered to recreate the original face or fingerprint. Even if a database is accessed, the tokens are completely useless to a cybercriminal.

🔁 Revocable & Replaceable: While you can't replace a biological face, Trust Stamp’s cryptographic tokens can be easily revoked and replaced if an organization's security parameters change.

US lawmakers move to restrict AI chatbots used by kids | Biometric Update 06/02/2026

US lawmakers are introducing bills that impose strict regulations on AI chatbots, including mandatory age verification. 🤖

These regulations will also ban minors for accessing "AI companions" to increase child safety.

The legislation, called the Guidelines for User Age-verification and Responsible Dialogue Act (GUARD Act), means that AI chatbots providers companies will be pushed toward using third party age verification vendors, that also need to meet data security regulations addressed on those bills.

At Trust Stamp, we believe compliance shouldn't come at the cost of data security.

1. Privacy-first age estimation: Using advanced facial analysis from a quick selfie, our technology approximates a user's age group in seconds without requiring identity documents.

2. Irreversible tokenisation (IT2): Converts biometric and ID data into an anonymized cryptographic token, ensuring no raw PII exists to be compromised in a breach.

3. Age verification and liveness detection: Liveness checks confirm the user’s real-time presence, preventing fraud and replay attacks while keeping the verification process seamless and user-friendly.

Our privacy-first identity architecture is built to help companies navigate these developing regulations.

Regulatory clarity for blockchain actually helps law enforcement ⚖️

By passing the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA), a key component of the CLARITY Act, the U.S. can protect consumer interests and clarify regulatory jurisdiction while distinguishing between financial institutions and the technology providers who build the neutral tools of the future. By establishing a safe harbor, this legislation ensures software developers are not held liable for the illegal actions of unrelated bad actors using their technology.

This is exactly where our Wallet of Wallets (WoW) sits. WoW allows users to manage their digital identities across multiple platforms securely and privately. As it is non-custodial, it empowers the individual. 🔒

John Bridge argues that, when the law is clear about who is a ‘developer’ vs a ‘custodian’, resources can be focused on stopping actual bad actors rather than stifling the technology that protects us all.

$40 million worth of crypto stolen from Step Finance — hackers compromise executives’ devices to gain illicit access 05/27/2026

The biggest crypto hack of the year: $40M drained from Decentralized finance (DeFi) platform 💰

Whilst the exact breach point is yet to be pinpointed, it’s likely to have involved hackers gaining access to hardware and stealing private keys and seed phrases.

This is something our Wallet of Wallets (WoW) solution using our Stable IT2 technology could have prevented.

1. No Stored Keys: With WoW, private keys and biometric aren't stored for hackers to find. Instead, the "key" is only temporarily reconstructed when the executive’s IT2 biometric token is generated via a live scan.

2. Physical Presence Requirement: IT2 includes "multi-level proof-of-life" technology. A remote hacker can't "fake" a face with a photo or deepfake.

3. Fragmented Security: WoW splits the keys to your assets into separate pieces (shards), distributed across independent locations. No single entity, holds enough to access the funds. Only the user's live biometric can regenerate the key and unlock the assets.

Biometrics are permanent. Data breaches shouldn’t be. 🔐

Biometric authentication is essential for modern security, but storing face templates creates a high-stakes liability. If you store it, they can steal it.

Our Irreversibly Transformed Identity Token (IT2) solves this.

Our patented technology uses deep neural networks to convert biometric data into a unique, pseudonymized cryptographic token. Because the transformation is strictly one-way, the original biometric cannot be reverse-engineered. ✅

1. Zero-Trust Security: If a database is breached, attackers find zero usable biometric data.

2. Seamless Authentication: Only the user's live physical presence can regenerate the cryptographic key.

3. Streamlined Compliance: As global privacy regulations grow alongside customer identification mandates, it is imperative to protect an increasing amount of user data.
