One of the many reasons that I love to travel is affordable self-care. Vietnam did not disappoint. First, the level of service vs the price of the service is unreal. The nail salons in Atlanta are never offering me fresh coconut water. I don't even remember them offering me anything to drink. The establishments are super clean, with comfortable seating, a variety of services offered and everything is done with a smile. I felt welcomed and cared for. We are staying in District 1, which is the most expensive area in Saigon so I imagine if you go out a bit further, the prices are even lower.

Vietnam is famous for it coffee culture. There is literally a different Cafe on every corner (including America's own Starbucks). Their most famous coffee is Egg coffee. It sounds disgusting but this brave soul did try it and it's pretty good. Thankfully we got some good sleep so that we could explore the streets of Saigon!

We are alive and well, although that flight almost took me out. We’ve slept the 1st day and a half after arriving into Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon). Here’s our Day 2 video. After we got plenty of rest, we’ve had some pretty spectacular adventures. I am slowly editing videos.....because we are too busy enjoying all that Vietnam has to offer. Next video is about the amazing spa experience that we had and trying Egg Coffee for the first time! Stay tuned
