The calendar has ticked over to June, but I am still celebrating and reflecting on the huge May I just experienced.
From to the record release, to a huge show in Destin with and finally closing out the month with a solo performance at , I hit big milestones with each of my projects. Everything that could go right went right. And I did it all with the help of golden hearted people shining alongside me.
Seersha was born out of a desperation for freedom and self-expression in my art. I think we joke sometimes as creatives that we’re living the dream. But I’m truly living it. And I only see it going up from here 📈
None of it works or matters without good people by your side. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for my constellation of stars surrounding me. PSA: Stop hanging out with people who bring you down and you will find your tribe(s). Communities where you all lift each other up and have fun doing it. I’ve swam through some dark tides and kissed a few frogs on this journey but I wouldn’t trade any of it because it led me here.
May was also AAPI heritage month and I got to perform MY OWN show with an all-Asian cast. I can’t tell you how healing that was for little half-Korean Seersha who barely saw any Asian representation in pop culture and had no Asian or mixed race creative friends throughout many formative younger years. I have been cultivating an internal sense of creative belonging for many years, and I see it reflected back to me now in magical ways 💞
Ok, now I’ve shared my bursting heart on positively overwhelming May and I’m ready for June! 🌈 HAPPY PRIDE!! Representation matters! Love matters! Freedom matters! Let’s keep going and growing together! 🚀 💋

Still more to share, but in this batch I want to reflect on how much fun I had putting wardrobe together this year, pushing myself in figuring out how to sew EL wire onto garments, prepping and enjoying one of my favorite onstage performance experiences including designing the relic trading cards, getting to meet many of you after my Core performance who came to pick out a card and hang out. The Cult of 1984 aura is strong. Kepler is full of galactic angels, thank you for making me feel like a brightly shining celestial body.
