Meet Sam Aguirre, a student at Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business! Sam is studying Business Management with a minor in Political Science and is set to graduate in May 2027.

With an interest in how organizations work, how leaders make decisions, and how communication can create a positive impact, Sam has found a meaningful connection between business and her passion for helping others. Through management courses with Dr. Adair and leadership courses with Dr. Carty, she has learned about communication, motivation, conflict resolution, and decision-making, skills she now applies as President of Phi Mu.

That same interest in people, leadership, and responsibility has shaped Sam’s goal of attending law school after graduation. Her Business Law class strengthened her interest in a legal career and showed her how business and law can work together to create ethical, effective leaders.

Sam encourages future students to take advantage of every opportunity, build relationships, be kind, and treat everyone with respect.

Whether you are working an internship, taking summer classes, or beginning a new journey post-graduation, the pursuit of knowledge never ends!

Congratulations to Lauren Kraft on graduating with her Master of Business Administration from Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business!

After also earning her BBA in Marketing and International Business from Mercer, Lauren leaves grateful for the relationships, mentors and opportunities that shaped her journey. From Mercer on Mission in Rwanda and studying abroad in Strasbourg, France, to serving as a Resident Advisor and supporting students through Career and Professional Development, she is most proud of the time she spent pouring into others.

Lauren recently joined M&R as a Social Media Strategist, a role she has already fallen in love with. Congratulations, Lauren, on this exciting next chapter!

Congratulations to Nolan Barnes, a Management major and Finance minor graduate of Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business!

One of the most impactful experiences of Nolan’s time at Mercer was participating in Mercer On Mission in Cape Town, South Africa, where he worked with a team to make recommendations for local businesses based on sales data and observations. The experience broadened his understanding of marketing, sales data, and the role businesses play in their communities.

Additionally, Nolan is proud of his leadership experience as President of Alpha Tau Omega, where he learned about organizational structure, effective leadership, and communication.

Next fall, Nolan will continue his education by pursuing his MBA at Mercer University! He hopes to connect with leaders, make an impact on his community, and continue the mission-driven mindset he developed during his time at Mercer.

Congratulations to Samuel Pulapakuri on graduating from Mercer Business with his Master of Science in Business Analytics!

During his time at Mercer, Samuel combined rigorous technical training with real-world experience, from studying data-driven decision making under Dr. Reza Maihami to managing social media metrics for Rec Sports and serving as a graduate assistant at Sheffield Gym. He credits those experiences, along with the relationships he built across campus, for helping him grow both personally and professionally.

Samuel plans to pursue a career in analytics with a focus on turning complex datasets into actionable business strategy while promoting the ethical and transparent use of data. We are proud to celebrate all he has accomplished and cannot wait to see the impact Samuel makes in the analytics industry!
