Valor House

What an amazing art-filled week we just had at Valor House! We got to play with inks for our monthly Valor Kids Art project at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; then our resident mentors got together for an experiential paint pour session creating beautiful pieces filled with our intentions. 🎨🩷🖼️

Thank you Nic and Lawrence for all you do to help keep our community a wonderful place for those seeking recovery.

The holidays can be a tough time for some, so we like to fill this time with service, community, and joy. Whether it’s gathering on Christmas Day for a Chinese buffet with our friends at Four Winds Recovery, passing out food and clothes to those in need, or our annual BBQ and white elephant gift exchange, we hope to bring a bit of light to all around us.

The guys had a blast today bringing this month’s craft project, cupcake liner owls, to KidsArt at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We love that we are able to learn how to serve in such a fun way!

A behind the scenes look at some of our Valor House residents helping prepare for the holiday season. There is nothing like some service work, icicle lights, and putting together hygiene kits for our service project this weekend to help put you in the holiday mood!

Some recent pictures from one of our favorite monthly service projects we do at Valor Recovery House. KidsArt is a transformative experience for our guys- where we get to bring an arts and crafts project into Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and create something fun with the children and their families. Always grateful for our resident’s who volunteer to keep this project going.

Getting to serve the unsheltered on the streets and share with others how to serve brings so much deep gratitude and humility. Our nonprofit organization 4 recovery foundation goes out every 2 weeks and feeds folx who are less fortunate. Thank you to all who support these efforts.
