NanDesuKan!!! I can't believe we're just two months away! I'm sharing a little early, but I'm so incredibly stoked to go to this con! I cannot wait to see you in Colorado!

It's hard to post about this without seeming like a virtue-signaling fu@khead or a self-aggrandizing a-hole, but before we get out of pride month, I just wanted to share something. I recently learned that a young person chose their name after a character I had the privilege of portraying, specifically because of my performance. Big feelings. It's one of those moments that's hard to put into words.

As voice actors, who are often viewed as just another language option, we hope our work connects with people, but you never really know how deeply it might matter. Knowing that a character I brought to life became part of someone's journey toward becoming their authentic self is an incredible honor—one I'll carry with me for a long time.

To everyone in the LGBTQ+ community: thank you for sharing your stories, your strength, and your trust. Happy Pride Month. I'm grateful that art can help people feel seen, and even more grateful to play a small part in that.

Big thanks to the Tokyo, OK attendees and staff for showing me a great time this past weekend! And thanks to everyone who stopped to appreciate my sick-ass Ms. Pac-Man costume!
