Working Title Playwrights is casting for our Acting Ensemble!!

We are especially seeking:
- Q***r, nonbinary, and trans actors
- East Asian and South Asian actors
- Latine/Latinx actors
- Actors age 50+

THE FIRST DRAFT with Amber Bradshaw

What if you didn’t have to write your first draft alone?

Early drafts are messy, alive, and full of discovery. In this class, we focus on the moment when a play is still taking shape and the questions are often more important than the answers. Instead of fixing a play after it’s written, we’ll practice excavating it while it’s still forming.

Participants will bring 10-minute selections of their scripts for live dramaturgy in class as we explore how playwrights and dramaturgs collaborate in the earliest stages of a play.

Curiosity over certainty. Discovery over perfection.
