Always wanted to take the Write Club stage, but weren't certain where to begin? Our Writing for Performance class (taught by Dani) is back! Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills for storytelling events or building a solo show, we're confident this class will help you discover and celebrate your voice. By the end of this eight week course, each student will leave with a polished and practiced 5 minute live literature piece.

The Tenderest Bloodsport
WRITE CLUB is the city's premier combative literary brawl. Each month, writers square off against each other in timed readings on opposing topics. It's poetry reading-meets-Sex Pistols gig. Past combatants include poet Theresa Davis, playwright and screenwriter Topher Payne, and novelist Jessica Handler. Bouts held the second Wednesday each month at the Highland Ballroom, hosted by Nicholas Tecosky and Myke Johns.
