Caring Hub, in partnership with the Kurt Douglas Foundation, is preparing to mobilize once roads are cleared and flights resume. Our mission in this phase is to help families, hospitals, and schools rebuild stronger, focusing on critical infrastructure and long-term recovery needs that will continue after the initial emergency response subsides.
We’re coordinating with local partners to ensure our efforts complement ongoing relief work already happening across the island.

Our hearts are breaking as we see the impact Hurricane Melissa has had on the people and communities of Saint Elizabeth.
For over a decade, Caring Hub has been blessed to walk alongside this parish — partnering with its hospitals, clinics, sanitarium, churches, and schools to bring health outreach and hope. Now, many of those same communities are hurting. Homes have been damaged, lives have been disrupted, and recovery will take time and care.
Please know that Caring Hub has not forgotten Saint Elizabeth. We are already connecting with our local partners and gathering information so we can respond effectively. While we’re still in the early stages of mobilizing, our hearts and hands are ready to serve as soon as it’s safe and practical to do so. To our friends, volunteers, and supporters — thank you for standing with us through the years.
