Here at LBC we're proud to announce we have a new tenant! Yes, that's right give a warm welcome to our friends at - founded by Joe Sissoko.

What started as a passion for milling has grown into a full-scale urban sawmill focused on quality, efficiency, and sustainability. They turn Atlanta’s fallen and locally harvested trees into dependable, high-quality lumber. Every part of the process happens in-house, from milling and kiln drying to flattening and planning. Keeping it all under one roof allows them to deliver consistent, stable lumber that’s ready to use.

And better yet, that wood is becoming a pipeline right into our clients' hands. So feel free to come down and say hi during our hours. We wish you WOOD 🪵

Vini, Vidi, Vici. We did it y’all! We wanted to take some time to give a huge shoutout to the folks who made this past Saturday night’s Trashion Show possible. Without each of you we could not have made it as successful as it was - your impact matters!

Strutting down the runway in style, first of all we’d like to thank the Green Initiatives Program graduates who acted as the models in the show. LEGENDARY is not a phenomenal enough word to describe the strutting we saw! From outfits curated for Dragon Con, to homemade chic reuse fashion and design small businesses - each of you made your mark on the runway!

Secondly, our amazing vendors deserve a special shoutout. You all not only took the time out of your day to come set up, but you elevated our event to a whole new level!

Finally, I’d like to send a special thank you to Scraplanta for collaborating with us on this project. The journey was long, but it was totally worth it! LBC’s long wanted to utilize our space for an evening event - and we could not have partnered with a better organization to help us implement this. Said Jonelle Dawkins, Executive Director of Scraplanta,

“The show was a way to inspire our graduates of our Green Creatives Academy to have pride in their work and celebrate with other people who are in the same boat as them… it’s a good way to show people all the things that they’ve learned.”
