Great turnout at the January ASHRAE Atlanta Chapter meeting for an engaging session on An Introduction to Product Optimization. Attendees explored how mathematical optimization can improve HVAC unit design, performance, and cost, with insights applicable across engineering, manufacturing, and product teams. Thanks to Tim Snyder for the informative presentation and to everyone who joined us.

Big thanks to Richard Simmons for speaking at our November chapter meeting. It was an incredible and engaging presentation on carbon neutral energy solutions, and understanding the relationship between electrical energy usage and the source where it is generated.

Our YEA crew had a great time at SweetWater Brewery! 🍺 We enjoyed a behind-the-scenes refrigeration tour, good food, and great networking. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a fun evening!

In April, ASHRAE Atlanta had the honor of hosting Society President Dennis Knight for a dinner meeting at Maggiano’s. He shared this year’s Society theme, “Empowering Our Workforce: Building a Sustainable Future,” encouraging members to lead the way as our industry evolves with technology, AI, and sustainability in mind.
