It's been hard for me to write this post, but today will be the last day here for us at our current location in Inman Park. We'll be taking a little time off after our 7 years here. It's been a wonderful, creative experience for me and I've met so many great people in the process. We'll be at the shop today from 1pm until late helping with the movers and packing our final possessions. Due to the weather, we will be closed the rest of the day. I think we'll follow Leo's lead & tuck in for the rest of the day and keep warm. This is his favorite spot-it's his little heater! (And don't worry, these bulbs are very low wattage & not hot at all.) Stay warm!

Looks like Leo is curious about the new Voluspa fragrances we just received at the shop. They're just as wonderful as they sound...Prosecco Bellini and Pomegranate Blood Orange are just the boost you need to warm up these cooler days.

Is there a sports game on today? Ha! Well we're looking pretty in pink here at the shop today! This light pink chest is perfect for a child's room, and it's a steal for $300. Our neighbors may be closed, but we'll be here until 7.

I think 2015 should be the Year of the Giraffe, unofficially. I just love this vintage pair of brass giraffes and can think of so many places to display them. They'd be wonderful in a bedroom or living room or even as that much-needed touch of sophistication in a baby's room. The heights are 21" & 20" and they're priced at $135.

Most of you know us for our painted finishes on furniture, but the gorgeous maple color on this desk was too pretty to cover up. This piece was manufactured by the Rway Co. out of Wisconsin during the 1960s, so it's got a nice, solid weight to it. I love to use smaller desks like this as an alternative to a side table for a bed or sofa, or as a functional catch-all in an entryway. Priced at $435, you'll enjoy creating endless possibilities for years to come with this one.
