Groove Moose formed in early August 2010 when the original three members met at GCSU.
They hit it off right away and started prolifically writing and recording songs. After a few successful years, the band broke up and lay dormant for many years. Then, in early 2017, the band met their new drummer and picked up right where they left off. Now the band is once again actively writing, recording, and playing as many shows as they can.
