Sometimes I find myself “falling out of love” with the songwriting process. I tend to write something daily, and while that can be productive, it can lead to burnout very easily.

Throughout the years, I’ve had to find new ways to jumpstart the process….from writing prompts to “rewriting” some of my favorite songs. It’s not failsafe, but it often gets the job done.

To the artist that follow me, I’d love to know how you reignite your spark whenever you start to feel burnout.

Any tips/suggestions are welcome

ATL….Whats up! Grateful to for giving me the opportunity to share my story and to show love to a community that’s given me so much!

Atlanta has shaped so much of how I see the world and I wouldn’t be the artist I am without the love and support of the people here.

Actors carry a quiet, immense burden. They are asked to lift words from the page and give them breath….to pour spirit and soul into ink, and allow a life to emerge beyond the paper it was born on. Every time I witness that transformation, it feels like magic.

Grateful to Jackson and Ja’Corey for lending their breath, their hearts, and their humanity to these words… inhabiting these characters with such grace, care, and empathy.

🗣️ Just want to shout this out—my short film TWILIGHT FOR THE WEARY is finally out now on YouTube.

As my first film, I had two goals:
A.) Make something that felt real, relatable, and lived-in.
B.) Make it available for anyone to watch.

Huge thank you to everyone who worked on this labor of love, contributed in any way, came to screenings, or showed love along the way. Your words of encouragement have had a lasting impact on me, and I hope to honor that by continuing to tell stories while staying true to who I am.

This film has been a wild ride, and honestly, I still can’t believe it even exists. I guess being fearless in your artistic pursuits really does pay off lol.

Enjoy the film and if it resonates with you, share it with someone you care about. I’ll see you in 2026 with more stories to tell ✌🏾(FILM LINK IN BIO 🔗)

I was once told, that if a song feels good on just a piano or guitar, you have the makings of something great. I think that’s why, to this day, all of my songs start off that way. Feels more honest to me…Its not me trying to hide behind fancy production or pretty bells and whistles, but trying find the honesty in the rawness.

I wrote “Bad News” in the middle of the night after a battle with insomnia and watching too much tv. I wanted the harmony to be simple but move. I still have fun playing it…even with the serious undertone, there is a playfulness that is probably just inherent…I don’t know…maybe I really am “laughing to keep from crying”….🤷🏽‍♂️

A little over a week ago, I hosted an intimate listening session for my new EP, These Days Don’t Last Long. It was one of the most beautiful nights of my year…filled with love, music, and a community that never fails to show up for me.

I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to root for me on this journey, and I’m so happy the music is finally out in the world for you all to experience.

Excited for the next phase of this adventure. ⚫️🔴
