Much of the posts I write will pertain to Inviolate from the vocalist's/frontwoman's/bellydancer's point of view. I also will have updates about my other music and dance-related projects, happenings, musings, and oh yes, blatant promotion for the band and every artistic project I'm involved in.
Discovered last night as they were supporting and Aether Reaalm last night on their North American tour. Man their tunes were hypnotic - and wonderfully, entirely danceable! Had this privilege of improv'ing to their sound check before the crowds rolled in. Definitely going to be putting their tunes in my metal rotation and supporting them whenever we're in the same city!

Dance win! I totally was aiming for getting at least one of my splits back by my birthday in September, but.... early achievement ftw 💃🏻 Btw, whether you're moshing, put-rowing, or just standing for hours headbanging from the neck up, stretching often is a lifesaver, especially before and after shows 😉🤘🏽 .

Never thought I'd ever say "I need to go to to fix my bellydance belt" 😆💃🏻 Or maybe see if has another belt in stock?
Gah I hate it when your computer does updates without telling you and just stays on a black screen for over 20 mins. Had to do a hard reboot on my music writing laptop (and before all you Appleheads say I should be doing this on a Mac, this is an IDEAS computer, not a full production workhorse)
On the other hand, it's nice to have four different songs in various stages to work on 😁
