CSI's monthly summertime Shabbat in the Park is back, with the first gathering tomorrow, Friday, May 29th from 5:45- ~7:30pm at Glenlake Park in Decatur. The final installment of our Synagogue Scholar & Author series for the 2025 - 2026 year will be tonight (4/15) at 7:30 pm as Dan Elkind delivers a presentation on the topic "Frayhayt: Jewish Anarchists vs. World War I." Dan is the son of CSI members Elena & Alexander Elkind and author of Dr. Chizhevsky's Chandelier: The Decline of the USSR and other Heresies of the Twentieth Century.
