IDFT turns 4 today! Thanks to everyone that gave it a listen and continue to do so, thanks to the Shady fam and everyone who played a part in bringing this thing to life. 4 years… a lot has happened in that time, some good some bad. For the longest I was frustrated with how things were goin for me in the music business. I took that frustration and made the album to express how I’d been feeling and to push boundaries and blend genres in a way I’d never heard before. In parallel, I put Grip in “timeout” out of that same frustration. Nothing was moving me. I tried to convince myself that the fire had died and I had nothing left to give to hip hop. Truth is, I was wrong and I got a team of people I started this s**t with that I can’t just turn my back on. We done came this far, gotta see it through. With all that bein said, album still on the way (a classic in my humble opinion) and a new Grip album on the way. 1st song drops next week. If you made it this far I appreciate you.
