A few years ago, I started reading the book by and God put deeply in my heart to start writing worship music focused on mental health. There are amazing and powerful verses in the scripture that help us focus our thoughts in truth and purpose for our lives and redirect our mental and emotional battles. My first song will be released soon. Stay tuned.

Long post 🚨 + confession + announcement

Ever since I was a little girl I had issues not feeling pretty. I do have legitimate reasons though. It wasn’t all in my head; I actually had way too many people (class mates, some family members) letting me know. Some of them “helping me” analyze what was wrong with my facial features. During high school I blamed it on some poor hair style choices. Even though all that was a long time ago, a girl never forgets those comments regardless all fitness, makeup and hair changes. With time, I’ve learned to be content with what I would find on the other side of the mirror. However, after hitting 30s and having children, you start seeing gray hair and some lines that weren’t there before. And in the words of Carrie Bradshaw, “your 40s are to pay for the drinks”. So I appreciated filters way too much! Still, if you all know me well, you know filters are far from my personality but the word “ugly” was still marking me to let go. And even though I do appreciate wisdom and experience, I’m not down with grays and lines…

On my last trip to Argentina, my sister in law made me try some products, more specifically skin care. Even though I’ve tried their products before, this was the perfect time for me, since my eye bags were in need of a bra from the trip exhaustion! I’ve been trying different things, treatments, oils, you name it, cheep and expensive. In less than a month I started noticing a difference. I loved it so much that I wanted to sell it myself. I love the makeup parties I get to put together so we can talk about our beauty uncomfortable places and get to a more comfortable and fun place! I can’t wait to start conversations and heartfelt moments with old and new friends! I’m very excited about all this. I sure didn’t change careers! I will never stop singing!!! I’m adding some good stuff to my life and ministry!
