Once upon a time, a homeowner in her newly built home, decided to keep her hardwood floors clean, and so mopped them on the daily. She used a water/vinegar mix. Soon the builder got a call from the homeowner and expressed her woes of how the varnish had gone bad. The moral of the story: Keep the vinegar for your salad.

Surely there are dozens of ways to clean your hardwoods. Any google search will reveal this. But here at OBG, we recommend a capful of Murphy's Oil Soap in a bucket of warm water. Otherwise, just a damp mop to keep them shiny and clean.
