Our client wanted a retreat, a vacation rental, + a part-time dwelling for a parent. They bought the steep piece of land connected to their river getaway with the goal of building a low maintenance, organic building. We used stone, standing seam metal, glass, + a bit of wood in areas where it would be protected from the elements. The goal of the design was for the home to feel like it grew from the slope.

Editing spaces that were once less desirable - allowing an entirely new way to experience the exterior of this home.
