Spoonies - this Sunday, Dec 3rd - come one, come all. Come share community, come write, come be with your fellow spoonie folx, come and take a nap if you need to, come listen, come share, come see yourself in others and come to remember you are not alone as you navigate chronic illness of body and/or mind. Bring a spoon, leave a spoon, come spoonless, come exactly as you are without apology or the need to alter or change anything about yourself and the way you and your body need to be. We see you. We are you.

The Holidaze can be hard on spoonies. Come kick it with us this Sunday, Dec 3 if you need some or to be with some other who know what it’s like to navigate .

day 3 - We’re in this together. The lie is that we’re all hurting in isolation. The lie is that grief and pain should be private - the lie comes direct from colonialism and white supremacy and capitalism. The truth is we’re not okay. And we shouldn’t be. Not with what’s going on. Love your babies. Help your neighbors. Be gentle around your grief. Speak truth to power. Be courageous. Be someone you can be proud of. Find moments of joy and beauty where you can even if they be fleeting.
