Details tell us what a design is supposed to feel like; they are fundamental to the life and personality of a space. Each finished masterpiece is checked over for imperfection several times, just to ensure that the desired atmosphere is achieved.

How does one cultivate a natural entertainment space that remains beautiful year round?

This question is one that plagues designers in extreme environments, and even more so in relatively temperate areas.
They have to do extensive research on how to marry the appropriate architecture/pool design with the appropriate ecology…so the family doesn’t end up with a backyard where half the plants are dead for half the year.

The solution is to find plants that provide a “four-season interest” like Japanese Maples, boxwoods, hollies, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, azaleas, and hellebore, which bloom in January. The result is a cohesive landscape that never fades, no matter the season.

Balancing the clash between the organic and geometric design on a 3D plane has little margin for error - but when it is done correctly, it creates a cohesive and innovative space that brings peace to the subconscious.

One of our favorite moments as a company is when landscapes begin to flourish and grow into the space we have created for our clients. The vision for the outdoor living space begins to truly come to life, maximizing the beauty that comes from merging functionality with nature.
