LAST CALL! Have you ever considered serving on the Leadership Buckhead Board of Directors? It’s a great way to be involved and support the program in a variety of ways. We are actively recruiting for two positions - Marketing Chair and Secretary - but also want to hear from you if it’s something you’d like to consider for the future.

The application deadline is ***THIS FRIDAY*** February 27, 2026. Interviews for 2026-2027 open positions will be conducted throughout March and candidates will be notified of decisions in April.

Open positions for the 2026-2027 year:

*Marketing Chair*
- Develop a consistent voice and brand across all social media platforms and other forms of communication, including email.
- Devise a social media calendar for the year.
Maintain Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media accounts.
- Regularly update and maintain website.
- Partner with Alumni Chair(s) to develop an alumni website and alumni-only website.
- Coordinate with other board chairs to: Publicize events, upcoming deadlines, and alumni opportunities; Support their marketing needs, including developing templates and documentation.
- Execute all communications to alumni, prospective and current class members.
- Participate in selections process.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
- Assist board members in other matters when necessary.

*Secretary*
- Prepare minutes of all board meetings and send to all board members.
- Send out board agenda and meeting notices/reminders to all board members.
- Circulate calendar invitations for all alumni and class programming as well as board meetings.
- Keep record of all meeting minutes for year and pass along to incoming secretary at end of term.
- Make arrangements for another board member to take minutes in the event the secretary is unable to attend a board meeting.
- Participate in selections process.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
- Assist board members in other matters when necessary.

It’s that time of year again… trust the process.

What an inspiring morning with our LB Alumni event, ”Leadership and Legacy”! Thank you to Jay Cranman for moderating such a stellar panel and to Lisa Chang, DeRetta Cole Rhodes, and Julianna Rue Cagle for sharing your authentic journeys with us. The Leadership Buckhead board, especially our Alumni Relations co-chairs, Carolyn Norton and Helaina Jolly, and their committee worked hard behind the scenes to pull off this at-capacity session on the Coca-Cola campus.
