Getting to work isn't always as simple as getting in the car.

Our recent workforce survey found that:
🚘 39% of South Metro workers regularly use Uber or Lyft to get to work
and
🚫 10% of the 39% don't have access to a personal vehicle

These numbers mean many workers still face first- and last-mile transportation barriers that make commuting more expensive, less predictable, and harder to manage.

Building a stronger South Metro starts with building better ways to get to work.

Game days bring some of the busiest travel conditions Atlanta has seen in years. Traffic around the stadium moves more than 75% slower than normal, with congestion beginning up to 3 hours before kickoff.

Before you go:
🚆 Consider MARTA—trains will run every 5 minutes on match days through 10:30 PM
⏰ Leave earlier than usual if you're driving
📱 Expect longer rideshare trips and pickup locations farther from major venues
🗺️ Have a backup commute plan ready

The best way to avoid game-day stress is to plan ahead. A few small adjustments could save you a lot of time on game day.
