Happy National Dog Day! Today, we’re celebrating one of our favorite Jingle Bell Run stars — Alikos, our 2026 Pet Honoree!

At 11 years old, this Belgian Malinois has spent his life adventuring with his family, especially when it involves chasing balls and frisbees. While arthritis may have slowed his once lightning-fast pace, it hasn’t slowed his playful spirit!

Alikos still loves his toys, family adventures, and bringing joy to everyone around him. He’s a great reminder that getting older doesn’t mean losing your zest for life.

Help us keep jingling for a great reason! Join Alikos’ team, raise funds, and help the Arthritis Foundation improve the lives of people and families living with arthritis while working toward a cure.
Let’s celebrate Alikos today and all the amazing pets who bring so much joy to our lives!

Support Team Alikos, and join us on December 13 at Wash Park! https://events.arthritis.org/teams/43868
