The Year of N9ne has been a gift of mastery & the Full Moon Tribe showed out like no other all year round. This year met me with a series of personal challenges to overcome & through the process of love, grief and virtue, we sustained a great life thru adversity and made new life thru music & cinema built to last eras upon decades.

Hitting the ground running after “Anywhere, But Here” has found me with the chance to try an array of new approaches. From producing short films, releasing albums, to building my own production company launching next year and everything in between. Learning the dynamics of storytelling has allowed me to reform my strengths as an artist through moments of vulnerability as I ascend thru acts of forgiveness.

I started the mission with the pleasure of developing my own visuals with - paying homage to a multitude of songs that molded me over the years, and kept me moving in evolutionary form as an artist.

“Bad Things Never Have Good Timing” was the first collaboration of many with my brother and is a masterful reminder to trust the everchanging process life brings forth to deliver peace. Featuring four songs by yours truly, BTNHGT encapsulates the power hindsight to forge a new perspective in foresight, and I’m proud of everything this moment will become in the near future.

As we close the year with my most honest album to date, The Ghost of Black Moses, recognize this body of work as an commemoration to the past, present and a future only *we control - building a bridge that trascends the modernity of human culture. Releasing this album on the 10 year anniversary of my bestfriend, Taylor Hopkins, tragic murder in 2015 has been a blessing to connect with his spirit in ways that I could only visit in short bursts thru grief & memory. Time has served to be the greatest asset for restoration and despite the road ahead, I’m amazed to see how far the journey can take us. A little faith is all we will ever need to see it thru, it is now that we water the seeds. As we welcome a new year, may the garden await. Until next time…
