Today we remember Anthony Jackson - one of the greatest bass players of all time. His playing was powerful, precise, and masterful.

I had the honor of working with Anthony on many of my albums over the years, including my solo debut, Naughty, What Cha’ Gonna Do for Me and more. Every time, he brought a depth and spirit to the music that was unmistakable.

Anthony’s bass lines didn’t just support the song, they told a story of their own. His touch and tone helped shape the sound of a generation.

Thank you, Anthony, for the music, the mastery, and the love you poured into every note. Your legacy will keep on vibrating in our hearts and in the groove forever.
