We appreciate the patience and understanding from everyone these past two weeks. We’ve been faced with an impossible timeline to navigate and have explored every option to move forward with no attainable solution. Therefore, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we have to announce the closure of the practice.

We can attend births at AMC until 10/10/22 if patients choose to stay during that time. Patients will be transferred out and oriented to new providers to ensure a safe transition and continuity of care. Providence Midwifery has assured us that they will welcome our patients with open arms.

The announcement of WellStar Atlanta Medical Center’s closing came as a shock to us all and we share in your frustration. We have taken this past week to explore every possible scenario to continue on. We’ve received conflicting information regarding the hospital's timeline to close and this past weekend, Wellstar has provided us with details that indicate we cannot deliver patients after 10/10/22. AMC has assured us that labor and delivery will continue to be supported in this time frame. We will be having individual conversations with patients about their options. We are in talks with other locations to continue to provide care and will update you as soon as we know something more.

Say hello to Tiffany 👋

She has worked in sonography for 21 years, with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Tiffany is certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography; and has spent majority of her career working in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, as well as some time in Neonatal Cranial Sonography and General sonography. As part of Intown Midwifery, Tiffany has worked hard to create an intimate and comfortable ultrasound experience for each family.

May every moment of every day be filled with this kind of peace: peace that says, “my soul will be unmoved, no matter what comes before me. My heart will still seek joy, no matter my uncertainty.” You are on a journey, and you are headed toward beautiful life-giving things. May you remember that this present moment has things to be gathered to make it there.
