When I graduated from college, I wasn’t exactly sure of how to apply my Neuroscience degree to my existential goals. I knew I wanted to share my knowledge on a platform outside of the scientific community and shift the paradigms on how the world views mental health. I wanted to especially impact those of us who are victims to the healthcare disparities that exist due to classism and racism.
Today I’m proud to announce that I’ve partnered with AREACH to help deliver this message to the inner city youth of Atlanta through my music.. AREACH is a non-profit organization that uses a scientific approach to promote self-confidence and non-violence to children who face extreme environmental threats towards a successful transition into adulthood. The program uses psychological techniques such as neurofeedback, virtual reality and meditation to create empowerment in our communities. I’m exited to be a part of this mission and will continue to use my voice to push our agenda further.. time to change the narrative from within!
