My Fellow Man had the honor of visiting Harper Archer Elementary, Douglass High, Washington High, and Mays High to present our Educator Appreciation Awards. Through the vision of our founder, Johnny Mims, we were able to bless teachers with self-care checks and restaurant gift cards as a small thank-you for the big work they do every day.

Special thanks to our partners Mulan’s Restaurant and Girl Diver, and to every supporter who gives to My Fellow Man. Your generosity makes moments like this possible.

We had a wonderful time at the My Fellow Man Annual Toy Giveaway at Lindsey Street Baptist Church.
Grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and leadership of Rev. & First Lady Motley, and for a church that opens its doors wide to community joy.

This is what it looks like when love is organized and generosity shows up with intention.

My Fellow Man had the honor of standing alongside partners across Metro Atlanta to remember, reflect, and recognize those who continue to serve courageously in our communities.

From South Fulton to Atlanta, the September 11th First Responders Appreciation Day and the Beyond the Call of Duty Awards reminded us that while we pause to remember those who gave their lives on 9/11, we also uplift the women and men who still answer the call today.

We were humbled to present the Courageous Service Award to officers who embody leadership, sacrifice, and courage beyond the badge. Officer Lamar Jacobs & Officer Alexis Dixon and others honored this week remind us that service is not just a duty, it is a calling.

🙏🏽 Thank you to J&V Cares, Atlanta Police & Fire, the City of South Fulton, and every hand that made this 24th Anniversary remembrance meaningful. To all of our first responders: we see you, we honor you, and we will keep lifting you up.
