The Young Leadership Committee is made up of young professionals in the Atlanta area who have Type 1 or a vested interest in Type 1. We work together on creating a community for the T1 crowd to bounce ideas off of, share successes with, and just do fun things! We also throw a rockin' fundraiser every year that, just last year alone, raised over 100k!

🌟 I am truly honored to be featured in the JDRF-Georgia letter that went to adults who have been newly diagnosed with Late Onset Type 1 Diabetes and my advocacy through my site Diabettie. Type 1 Diabetes is often thought of as a children’s disease, but adults like myself can be diagnosed with it too. I am so happy there are organizations like JDRF to help continue to push to find a cure for diabetes. 💙
