This program gives the courts another alternative to incarceration.
The STRAP program is designed to build character, teach responsibility, leadership and integrity, knowledge, and empowerment through teaching life lessons to Gwinnett’s at-risk youth.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the elected officials of Gwinnett County: Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, Chief Superior Court Judge George Hutchinson III, Superior Court Judge Angela Duncan, Chief Magistrate Judge Kristina Hammer Blum, Judge Robert Waller, Sheriff Keybo Taylor, and Chief of Police James D. McClure, Fire Chief Fredrick Cephus, and Gwinnett County Medical Examiner, Dr. Carol Terry for attending and making STRAP Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony an amazing event. Their encouraging words and signing of over 65 Letters of Appreciation highlighted their deep gratitude for our dedicated volunteers. We are honored to be represented by leaders who genuinely care about the community they serve. A special thank you to Gwinnett County DA Patsy Austin-Gatson, Commissioner Kirkland Carter, and all the volunteers who joined us for this memorable event!

At Seeking the Right Amendable Path (STRAP), we have been deeply engaged in teaching and nurturing our youth. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Jackie Haynes, Attorney Lawrence Lewis, Chelsey Miller, Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Angela Duncan, Ms. Eve Condit, Henry Condit, Medical Examiner Dr. Terry, for generously sharing their knowledge and wisdom.
