Last night was special. It was beautiful to see everyone coming together in support of Palestine. Thank you for inviting me to perform .salam ❤️. I was deeply moved by the unity, love, and compassion. Money was raised to support our brothers and sisters who are in the midst of a genocide. The work doesn’t stop here. We have to continue to use our voice, time, and resources to facilitate a real change. No matter how small the efforts, it takes all of us to contribute to the world we want to see ❤️ 🇵🇸 🍉

I’ve officially moved to Atlanta!

I originally came up here to work on a tv show for a couple months. I knew I would go through changes when I first decided to come to Atlanta. I promised God that I would have faith and embrace this transitional period. My faith was quickly tested.

People I loved exited my life, I got scammed for $650, I got in a car accident, and my job was threatened all within a weeks span. It hurt but I held on to the promise I made with God. Instead of seeping into the den of depression as I usually do, I saw it as God making room for something beautiful. I knew a blessing was on the other side of all of this. Things don’t happen “to” you, they happen FOR you. And besides, we don’t always see it in the moment but everything always works out in the end. And it did!

I was able to find my tribe of people, my bank took care of me, my insurance fixed my car, and I ended up taking a lesser role at work where I made more money with less responsibilities. That was divine because I’d been pouring so much into work that I neglected the things I’m most passionate about. Everything happens how it’s supposed to. Thankfully I made a good impression with the right people at FOX and they kept asking me to work more and more shows. It only made sense to move at that point.

God is good and I’m thankful for all the lessons and opportunities I’ve received while in Atlanta. I’ve been booked for a number of shows and my music is flourishing here. I’ve recently been hired as the Acquisitions Manager for Black on Demand, the network that currently hosts Phat Vegan. I’ve never been called a superstar so much in my life! I believed it before but now I KNOW.

I was never crazy and my dreams were never too big. It just takes time to build something special. Allow me to be an example of what happens when you follow the vision God put in your heart. It’s not there for nothing and the road to it won’t be easy but keep going. The one thing every successful person has in common is that they never gave up. Keep going because I am!
