On Juneteenth, we will come together to honor the resilience, strength, and spirit of our ancestors who paved the way for our freedom. This is a day to reflect on our history, celebrate how far we’ve come, and commit to the work still needed for justice and equality.

Together, we will celebrate:

Peace and Freedom – The values that continue to guide our journey toward a more just and equitable world.
Unity and Community – Connecting with friends, family, and neighbors as we build a future rooted in solidarity.
Culture and Heritage – Embracing the richness of Black culture through music, art, food, and traditions that define us.

Empowerment and Growth – Recognizing the progress we’ve made while acknowledging the work still ahead.
Healing and Hope – For all who have struggled, and for all who continue to push forward with strength and grace.

Let’s honor the legacy of Juneteenth by gathering as a community, sharing stories, and celebrating everything that makes us who we are. Everyone is welcome - bring your families, your friends, and your hearts.

Come out and be part of the movement toward a brighter, more inclusive future.

The same folks who are lecturing us on “merit” are busy nominating some of the most unqualified people in history to public office.

Join us for a 1 mile/5K walk and resource expo hosted by Emory Hillandale Hospital Violence Prevention Program in recognition of Gun Violence Awareness Month. Join us for entertainment, performances, food trucks, and more at our Atlanta annual peace walk on either Saturday, May 31st or Saturday, June 7th!

This year, we're offering two unique approaches. The May 31st Peace Walk, Path to Peace: A Walk for Unity, focuses on reconnecting neighbors in the Atlanta community that's undergone significant development.

The June 7th peace walk, in collaboration with Arrow Youth Leadership Council International, has a universal theme “Play 4 Peace”, prioritizing children, families, and nonviolence.

This is for all my Young Brothers out here that maybe seeking an opportunity to change their lives— Georgia Power is offering a Line Worker Entry Program and also a chance to earn CDLs .
