LA Racing's Gabriel Carrasquillo Wins Limited Class at 864

Gabe traveled to Pickens, SC to race at an event hosted by the 864 race group. The car was consistent all day, running .75–.77. Gabe felt like the car had a little more in it, but played it safe not wanting to risk getting eliminated early, so he kept the tune really conservative and went on to win the limited prep class. 2026 BBM Performance & Parts March Madness Review

Somehow, we missed this review. Better late than never.

LA Racing's Gabriel Carrasquillo had a great showing at this event. His best 2 passes he laid down over the whole weekend were impressive.
Outlaw 1.44-95mph
Limited 1.64 -87mph
Gabe would win the Quick 16 Limited Race Friday night!
We'll say this out loud. Limited class is fun! We needed a bye run during competition to see if a gear change would help. The gearing was off by a little but still we were still able to work around it and had a great competitive car during the whole race. Went some rounds in both classes but an error bit our ass again. See ya at the track soon!

LA Racing's Gabriel Carrasquillo new colors for the March Madness big show. See ya at the track!

LA Racing's Gabriel Carrasquillo readying for March Madness next weekend. Spent the day Saturday doing a little test and tune at the track. Despite all the pollen, Jamie Bennington did an excellent job prepping the track which produced some very encouraging numbers. Limited prep car clocked some great numbers and the open prep was in the ballpark. Looking forward to the big race and seeing our racing friends. See ya at the track!

As 2025 comes to a close, looking back, the year proved to be one of the most successful for LA Racing due to in large part from the support of Tom Rockwell. Thank you, Tom for all the support.
