Had an old dresser for the last 17 years, given from a friend. Had intended to refinish it but after started to strip it I noticed a musty 7Up smell. Tried everything to get rid of it, couldn’t, and got discouraged and it sat. Finally decided to do something different. Painted it and put partitions in the drawers and created a planter. The rubber mat had the original paint wear off so I repainted it with acrylic craft paint.

My daughter and I moved some compost from the bin over to one of my beds and as I was spreading it out, found this poor baby. I immediately contacted a friend who is more knowledgeable of animals than I am but neither of us could figure out what it is. My vote is on vole, since my cat has brought me several dead ones over the years. I put the poor thing back in the compost bin in the hopes mama would come back and nurse it, but I feel terrible it might not make it.

We’ve had way too much rain and we have more to come. We had a brief reprieve so I ran out to take a few pictures of my gardens. Here’s what’s going on! My husband is almost 76 and I’m 72. It’s a lot of work but we get so much enjoyment just sitting out there. I’m happy to answer any questions!

So I planted these asparagus last year. They are already way out of control and several feet tall. How am I supposed to maintain them or care for them so we can actually eat them in a few years?

Hi group. This is my before&after. It's a small area but I want some plants and preferably in pots. Any suggestions for a low budget, first timer garden is dearly appreciated. It's a sunny area.

Came up with this idea about a month ago, and I have to say it is making me so happy during this dark, dark winter! The grow lights are such that I can still use the handrail easily! I was running out of room in my home for plants and came up with this idea, so far so good!
