🎬🏳️‍⚧️ WE’RE GOING TO OUT ON FILM! 🏳️‍🌈🎬

I’m so proud to share that Eight Heels and a Hard Truth has been officially selected for Out On Film 2026 in Atlanta! ❤️

As a first-time filmmaker, this short documentary is deeply personal—honoring the resilience of trans women whose stories have too often been silenced and erased.

📍 Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema, Atlanta

Produced with support from the Reel Resistance Fellowship, a program of Out On Film, Inc., in partnership with Atlanta Pride.

Come celebrate q***r and trans stories with us! 🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Another year at the Saving Ourselves Symposium (SOS)—a space that continues to remind us what collective power looks like.

Founded in 2013 by Marvell L. Terry II and the Red Door Foundation, SOS was created as a one-of-a-kind space for and by the Black LGBTQ+ community, bringing together research, health practices, advocacy, culture, and community. Since 2020, the Southern AIDS Coalition has been proud to carry that legacy forward.

SOS 2026, “Collective Action for Collective Impact,” was a powerful call to move beyond conversation and into coordinated strategy, shared accountability, and collaboration.

This year, we were especially grateful to be part of conversations around advancing policies solutions and advocacy for trans men and women of color, including the important work happening here in Georgia. Our voices belong at the tables where decisions are being made, and our communities deserve policies that reflect our lives, needs, and futures.

Congratulations to Quinton Reynolds , Founder and Executive Director of Game Changing Men , on receiving the SOS Founder’s Award. Your leadership, vision, and commitment our communities continue to make an impact.

And to everyone who made SOS 2026 possible—thank you for investing in this space, for always welcoming us, and for continuing to create a space where our communities can come together, learn, celebrate, organize, and build. We are grateful for every organizer, speaker, advocate, community member, and partner who showed up and contributed to this collective moment.

Another year of learning, connecting, celebrating, and building together.

For us. By us. Together, we create collective impact. ✊🏾🏳️‍⚧️❤️
