Do you feel the same way?

I do not want my home to be a time capsule of what was trending in 2026. I want my home to be a reflection of my life. The places I have traveled, the people I have loved, the sentimental attachments I have formed along the way.

I love a timeless decor style, a home thats curated, not decorated.

I lean into a traditional home aesthetic. I decorate my home with things I have bought along the way, vintage items found in roadside shops, furniture I saved up for, facebook marketplace chandeliers, thrifted items, and loads of patterns, textures, and color to create warmth.

It it needs to be durable, sustainable, I want it to feel permanent. Little things added with time, that reflect the evolution of my home, not what we was trending online.

That’s my home. If my content found you today, perhaps it’s your home as well. I would love to have you follow for more.❤️

I could change my homes look, but I just prefer MORE.

This corner was sadly empty, a facebook marketplace 1950’s secretary cabinet and a bunch of thrifted knick knacks and doo dads made my heart sink.

And also, Dolly knows best. ❤️

Could this be my purpose in life? 😂

I am certainly good at it! And thrifting and shopping small is my favorite!

Is spending money your purpose, too? 🫢

I made a mistake in this room.

I had this idea that because the room had limited natural light, that using a pale shade of paint with a high LRV would brighten the room.

Instead, the room looked lifeless and drab.

I decided to go bold with color and painted the room French Horn by .

We also replaced the chandelier with a Facebook marketplace find (all of the furniture in this room was purchased secondhand).

I feel like this room still has a few things that I would like to do, but I’m loving the warmth and personality of the gold paint color and the fact that the room no longer looks drab and gray.

Do you like stuff?

Someone recently commented on one of my reels that people were not into stuff anymore. That it is clutter. They said they hate dusting.

Y’all I would not consider myself a full on maximalist, but there are a few places in my home that I love all of the stuff. And no one would accuse me of being a minimalist. 😂

I collect stuff for those areas. And almost all of the stuff is Thrifted.

My favorite two places to showcase my stuff, are my vintage oak kitchen hutch that I found on Facebook marketplace, and the 1940s antique secretary cabinet that I also found on Facebook marketplace.

If you enjoy thrifting stuff and enjoy seeing how someone styles stuff in their home (and don’t mind dusting), follow stuff. ❤️

Southern women and hosting…

Sunday Stills.

Keeping it casual in Georgia. It’s a long weekend, my children are home, the table is set and my heart is full…

This was a wonderful tablescape to create and share, it’s filled with beautiful vintage thrifted dishes, and new cabbageware. I seldom share new things, unless they actually look timeless. I feel like this tablescape with the best of both.

I am grateful for the freedom I enjoy and the courageous sacrifice and selfless dedication of those who we honor this weekend. ❤️

Do you have FOMO?

Fear Of Missing Out? That is actually what I dislike most about trends and the promotion of “viral must haves”, is that anxiety pushes people to buy what they do not need (and perhaps can not afford) because of messaging that if they do not buy the magical item, they miss out.

Yuck. That is no way to live and certainly no way to curate a home.

Take your time, enjoy the process, surround yourself with what makes you happy today and what you envision you will still love ten years from now.

Home evolves slowly, by changing tastes over time, not what is trending.

Does that resonate with you? Stick around for more cozy content from a traditional home.
