Report: Dewberry takes full ownership of stalled Campanile building in Midtown Developer John Dewberry took back control of the campanile project following the release of a $75 million lender interest.

In a major step toward improving safety for all roadway users, especially for pedestrians and other non-motorized users, the Atlanta Department of Transportation is actively installing “No Turn on Red” signs throughout Midtown and Downtown.

⚠️ Heads Up, Midtown: On Monday, May 18th, Peachtree St from Ponce De Leon Ave to 3rd St will be closed from 8am to 4pm. The purpose of the closure is to set up a crane and perform several lifts of building material and equipment onto the roof of the Fox Theatre building.

NB motor vehicle traffic on Peachtree Street will detour left onto Ponce de Leon Ave, right onto West Peachtree St, and right onto 3rd St to then turn left and rejoin Peachtree St. SB motor vehicle traffic on Peachtree St will detour left onto 3rd St, right onto Juniper St and right onto Ponce de Leon Ave to then turn left and rejoin Peachtree St.

Pedestrians will have access to the sidewalk on the Georgian Terrace side of Peachtree Street at both Ponce De Leon Ave and 3rd Street. Plan accordingly and use your GPS.

Heads-up: Road closure on Sunday, May 3 for a public event. The block of Peachtree Street between 10th and 11th Streets will be closed to motor vehicle traffic from 8am-7pm. NB motorists will detour at 10th Street. SB motorists will detour at 11th. Please plan accordingly.

The City of Atlanta Dept. of Watershed Management sewer mainline work continues on the 10th Street corridor between Crescent Avenue and Piedmont Avenue. Per the City, this work is happening in three phases.

Work has now started on the segment of 10th Street between Juniper and Peachtree Streets (Phase Two) and is expected to last for two weeks. Construction will occur Monday through Friday from 7am-7pm. View the City’s traffic advisory details here: https://bit.ly/3O9IH1b

Juniper Street is closed between 11th/10th Streets. Motorists traveling SB from the uppermost section of Juniper Street will detour at 11th Street. Motorists headed WB on 10th Street will detour at Juniper. Motorists going EB on 10th Street will detour at Piedmont Ave.
