Kalil ROS Artist

KALIL ROS - BIO

Kalil ROS’ mission is to uplift, inspire, and transform people to become a better version of themselves through God’s divine guidance and direction. Kalil ROS – a unique artist with a unique name. The “R-O-S” stands for Reflection of Self, representing the introspective vibe that Kalil wants listeners to experience in his music. A Man of God first and foremost, Kalil delivers a sound of soulful hip hop music, a touch of Jazz, and spoken word, as well as songs of love, motivation and healing. He shares his personal realization that the deeper the depth of the struggle, the greater the glory of God will fulfill your life. His vision is to be a positive influence on the lives of both young and old, to inspire them in a way that gives hope for a future in serving Jesus Christ. Kalil sought to express himself and his passion for songwriting, poetry and music, and while in High School, he and a few friends formed the group Ima’ge. The group had the elements of a classic R&B group and gained some local success; however, something was missing. Eventually, Kalil ROS took a break from the group. He decided to go solo under the moniker Shadow, which represents his reflection of self, reflection of God within’. Feeling the presence of God speaking to him as a messenger of the Word, Kalil ROS had a vision and an awakening within himself, which was expressed through the conscious tone of his lyrics. Being a rapper spreading the Word of God became his second gift. He would transition totally into inspirational Hip Hop where he could focus delivering God’s Word and being the artist that he loves to be. Kalil ROS says writing material is effortless now that he is filled with the Holy Spirit. With intense lyrical phrasing, soulful hooks and most important a message – Kalil ROS will leave you refreshed and inspired.
