Carnival season is back in full effect World Wide! It is the culture that started me on this journey. Our mixture of African and Indigenous Kalinago Carib Garifuna blood are apparent in my designs. I am a proud AfroCaribbean Woman. I love my culture, and continue to give homage and pay reverence to the ancestors of our precolonial empires. You see we have never been a simple people.
