Getting the chance to personally drop off a framed copy of the 🍖🗺️ and meet the team at was a very special moment, to say the least. One of the absolute oldest bbq spots in Georgia, Fresh Air has been doing it the same way since 1929. I talked to the Pitmaster about their legendary L-shaped brick pit and his memories of growing up - he said that no bbq sauce in Georgia ever had tomato in it, it was straight vinegar/pepper similar to how it remains in North Carolina today. Absolutely love Fresh Air and am honored that the Map hangs on the wall. Make sure to stop by whenever you’re passing through Jackson, GA!
