Alyssa graduated cm laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and has a Bachelor's of Music Degree in Musical Theatre. She has nearly ten years of professional experience in the theatre circuit, and has worked both internationally and nationally. Her career has ranged from performing on Norwegian cruise ships, national tours, and at Universal and SeaWorld theme parks. She has worked under the direction of Tony nominee John Tartaglia and workshopped and premiered new musical theatre works at major regional and local theatre companies. In the span of those years, she has seen the importance of making a good impression from the very first time you enter the audition room. She brings her own career experiences to her coaching, and has a large passion for building actors confidence while giving them the tools they need to walk into an audition knowing they are bringing their A-game.

What can I say that hasnât already been said? It took me a minute to find the words because I canât believe such a larger than life woman is gone. In my head, sheâs just always existed and was going to outlive us all.
I grew up listening to Dolly, going to Dollywood with my family, and later on in life, traveling to her hometown to attend many years of callbacks at Dollywood.
It wasnât until I was cast as Doralee in 9 to 5 the Musical that I grew to really love and appreciate the woman she was. I dove in head-first when prepping for Doralee, and spent hours watching footage of Dolly speaking to perfect her strong southern twang, listening to her music, and reading about her life.
Last summer I was lucky enough to sing several of the songs in her songbook in the show H***y Tonk Angels, and when it was time to choose the music for my solo cabaret show, you best believe I choose several of Miss Parton's songs.
I canât put into words what she means to me, but I do know that she taught me that the answer to my place in the theatre and music industry was right within me all along, all I had to do was show up as my authentic self.
If I can ever be half the woman Dolly was, I would be proud.
