It’s not the office supplies, plane rides or candy bars that are really inspiring here. It’s the communication of feelings you can identify with because you’ve felt them at some time in your life:

⌚ Needing time and space from people you love dearly.

💪 Working hard to accomplish a big goal (or at least you’ve

dreamed about it)

🍽 Being really hungry or out of energy

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.

Government should not be controlling women's bodies. As the mother of a 16-year-old with a uterus, recent events in our country are terrifying. But I'm not backing down. In fact, I invite more of you to stand up with me. Tell your representatives that, no matter their personal or religious beliefs, they should not be legislating abortion bans on other people. And vote like your rights depend on it - because they do.

As small business owners, we realize this is a risk. But, what is the risk if we all remain quiet?

So, yeah, at Silverbow Projects we stand for equality and part of that is ensuring everyone has the same rights - and it's not dependent upon which body parts you have.

Since creating Silverbow Projects LLC I'm now able to make my own schedule (mostly), get paid appropriately, create for multiple clients from tiny to colossal. And this week, I finished up by interviewing a mom whose kid just won a gold medal in the Olympic Games. If you're thinking about stepping out of corporate to do your own thing, my advice is this: 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗢 𝗜𝗧!
