Ezekiel 11: 14-21

I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their HEART OF STONE and give them a HEART OF FLESH

Are you hiding in plain sight?

Get up, get dress, shower, shave, put on some makeup, get a fresh haircut, get a manicure or pedicure, get a massage, call a friend, family member or neighbor, read a book outside, take a drive or go for a walk….
You’re to fine and sexy to be hidden
You’re welcome 🫠😘

Validate before offering your opinion or suggestion
Often times we miss the mark and want to offer solutions or solve someone’s problem… but let’s slow down and offer validation to support the transition into problem solving 🖤
The old adage “you get more with honey than vinegar” stands true

I heard someone say- The word “No” is a full sentence

Sometimes we can’t help ourselves but to concert “no” with a justification. To be completely candid, we’re all guilty of it at some point! But it makes me wonder, what would it be like if we politely decline an invitation or suggestion with a “no, thank you” and smile 🤔🤔

On the other hand, my biggest challenge comes when someone says “no” to me 😕It’s difficult to accept or hear from others and not associate it with being rejected or insulted. Let’s get real, hearing “no” is painful and can be internalized and saying “no” can lead to one feeling guilty or ashamed.

Beginning to normalize and accept “no” as a full sentence may lead
to emotional maturity and self regulation. Will you join me in this self challenge??

To love well requires courage and trust- Dr. Sue Johnson
Often times we find ourselves frustrated in relationships and want to give up and take a sabbatical. Love is a risk, but it’s even riskier not to love. When we chose to love, we chose to be courageous and be vulnerable. Love helps us recognize our strengths and weaknesses and gives us a chance to identify our needs

Remember playing Truth, dare, double dare, or promise to repeat ??
Let’s play the adult version of it
Repeat after me!
Truth-I will live my life to the fullest
Dare-to do something you've never done before
Double dare to imagine your future self, and what life can look like
Promise to repeat- I will not be afraid to make mistakes, mistakes are lessons, and lessons are worth every risk I take

Let’s redeem our hope and heal our hearts by doing the following-

Give yourself time to recover and recharge from the situation- responding immediately may worsen the situation. It’s okay to take a break, but please return with a sober mind
Give yourself space to re-evaluate and reassess the situation. This is helpful to rebuild and re-engage productively
