Can't tell if I'm done carving this guy or not. Don't know if I should paint him, either. I have no faith in my painting abilities.

Currently working on this old feller. He's taking forever and its driving me mad.
Is it just me or does it slightly resemble the face on the Shroud of Turin?
I've been teaching myself how to carve a face and I've been working on this guy for days. 😐
I'm happy with the nose, for the most part, but eyes and mouths are hard!

Hey y'all, I am going to change the name of this page so that I can buy a matching domain. I will still be posting about my art here, but i will be switching over to another platform. I haven't decided if i will go with Etsy, Squarespace, or some other site, but i will keep you up to date on all changes.v
I have been creating a lot lately, so more work is on it's way.

I had a lot of leftover paint from my last piece so I decided to pour another one. I really dig it. I don't usually work with a lot of reds, but I'm digging it tonight.
