Today I had amazing lunch and strategy session with Andrea Harry Bibbs at The Gathering Spot. The space, the food and the vibe are always so great!

We saw friends and had wonderful conversations, but we also GSD! IYKYK 😊

This morning I had the pleasure of attending the Partnership for Innovation event at the Georgia Municipal Association. And wow, what an energizing start to the day.

Then, I trotted on over to for an amazing patio lunch with friends. 😊

Workforce development is more than a buzzword, it’s the foundation of economic mobility, impact, and sustainability. And right now, it’s mission-critical.

AI is transforming the way we work. While it brings incredible benefits, it also poses real challenges for our workforce. To adapt and thrive, we need to focus on three key areas:

🔑 Foundational knowledge
🧠 Critical thinking
🗣️ Communication & soft skills

These “human” skills will become even more essential as AI takes over more routine tasks. Employers and employees alike must rethink how work gets done, because what was is not what will be.

I’m excited to dive deeper into this topic during Monday’s webinar for Saint Leo University, where we’ll explore:

✅ Organizational culture
✅ Workforce readiness
✅ The critical role of soft skills in an AI-driven future
✅ Why a mindset shift is needed at every level

Another incredible week in the books — full of inspiring people, powerful conversations, and creative energy.

First up: I kicked off the week with the -TAG Entertainment Tourism Alliance event at the Exhibition Hub Atlanta Arts Center, featuring an immersive Van Gogh exhibit. E-TAG’s mission to advocate for tourism and economic development through entertainment in Georgia is one I’m proud to support.

Next: I attended The State of Black DeKalb at The Carter Center — a powerful, thought-provoking dialogue hosted by the ACLU of Georgia and Southern Center for Human Rights. Deep gratitude to everyone creating space for these necessary conversations.

I also had the chance to attend The State of DeKalb at Assembly Atlanta — a stunning venue and an exciting look at what’s ahead for the region.

Then, our friends at Ryan Klee, Terra Elan McVoy and Carter Parrish hosted a dynamic marketing mixer at the Distillery of Modern Art — amazing people, great energy, and a truly one-of-a-kind setting.

To close out the week: The ATL Tech Collective gathered at Switchyards in Cabbagetown. A perfect end to the week, followed by a walk to Grind House with Toshi Jones and an amazing conversation with Brandon Butler.

Oh Atlanta… and now it’s 53 degrees.
