This day, and every one that follows, is yours. It is yours to choose who and how to love, to serve, and even to be.

The choice you made in reading this page represents the choice to take this journey in the company of your Heavenly Father. This is how you give him space to create pathways and rivers in those dry areas of your life. That is a beautiful place to start.

God, thank you for remaining faithful to me today. Help me to make space for you to create paths and rivers in areas that I feel tired and dry. Amen

Always There

In the midst of our trying circumstances, we call out to the people who promised to always be there, but they don't answer. They don't call us back. Even the best friend, the closest sister, the doting parent will fail in their ability to be there for you.

The only one we can truly depend on in this life is God. He works in wonderful ways to show his faithfulness and love to us in our time of need. Thank him for always being with you.

God, I have been disappointed by people. Some days feel more disappointing than others. Help me to have grace for those who have let me down, but also give me a new expectation that I can trust in you and that you are not like everyone else. No one is God but you!

Prepare The Way

In order for Jesus to have his rightful place in the hearts of the people, John knew he had to fade away. You cannot save the people you're preaching to. You can't rescue them from sin or keep them from hell. Only Jesus can do that. But you can prepare the way in their hearts for his presence.

Don't keep the glory of God shut up. Let it out and make him known, so when he comes, those who have known you will know who he is because you proclaimed him clearly.

God, sometimes it is hard for me to know how to proclaim who you are and what you are doing in this world. I know, however, that I am your image bearer and that I can be a reflection of you. Let me represent you well. Amen

Psalms 91:10

GOD will bring you through it. Whatever's going on in your life and you feel you can't make, just trust and believe in the ALL MIGHTY POWER.

" …We went through fire and flood, but You brought us to a place of abundance" (Psalm 66:12, NLT).

In scripture, three Hebrew teenagers, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were told to bow down to the king’s idol or they would be thrown into a fiery furnace. They said, “No, King. We’re not going to bow down. We know our God will deliver us.” Their attitude was, “We’re not worried about it. We know we have inside information. We know everything is going to be alright.” Notice they didn’t fight it. They weren’t upset. They weren’t complaining. They were at peace. They knew God Almighty had His hand upon them. The guards threw them into the fiery furnace, and when all was said and done, they came out without even the smell of smoke on them!

Notice that God didn’t deliver them from the fire; He delivered them through the fire. Maybe you are going through the fire today. Know that God is with you. He’s doing a work in you, and He’s displaying His glory through you. Remember, on the other side of the fire is a place of abundance and blessing! Stand strong and see the fulfillment of the promises He has in store for you!

It's crazy how the devil will use your family to diminish your character.
