Vehicles are NOT simple to fix anymore. 2016 Altima transmission has been replaced with a used unit. You just cannot replace a used unit anymore because you will have this code - P17F0. There is a tsb for this particular code. Whenever you replace a used transmission for this year model, you will need to have the TCM from the used unit. Once the TCM is installed, there is no longer any codes. Then it's time to see if there is an update. Here is the whole procedure in the pictures. Be aware, when you order a used unit, make sure you also get the transmission control module.

I had a call to diagnose this Sonata which shut down while driving. Basic inspection had been done such as spark fuel and compression. The interesting part was spark was erratic. Once I hooked up an oscilloscope I was able to see some erratic signal from crankshaft sensor. This kind of issue makes it really hard to diagnose but not impossible. With the right equipment, information and knowledge problems such as this can be found quickly.

09 Ford escape programming. I Tried programming new abs module and for some reason it was completed but still had an issue programming it. Tech attempted to program it with an aftermarket scan tool Maxisys but was unable. Now that I know some history, I believe somehow something went wrong. Programming a new module is a simple procedure but now this module has an issue. I was able to perform as built data programming and everything worked properly. Lesson learned here is this maxisys scan tool was unable to complete the task at hand.
